Does RuleStudio send my code anywhere?

No. RuleStudio reads your files locally to lint them. Nothing is uploaded

or transmitted. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Do I need SwiftLint installed separately?

No. The Mac App Store edition includes SwiftLint built in — there is nothing

else to install.

Which rules are supported?

RuleStudio supports SwiftLint's built-in rules. A small number of rules that

require the Swift compiler or SourceKit (SwiftLint's "analyzer" rules and

some SourceKit-based rules) are not available in the sandboxed Mac App Store

edition, due to App Sandbox restrictions. RuleStudio clearly marks these so

you always know which rules it can evaluate.
